Baker Teaches Green Corn Guava Valentine’s Day Cake Recipe | bahia

The month of June is marked by the celebration of São João and the typical products of the season such as cakes, liqueurs and cereals. In addition, June is also the month of Saint Valentine, a date celebrated on this Saturday (12).

To use seasonal ingredients like green corn, baker Melissa Matos teaches how to make a cake called “Maria Bonita e Lampião”.

“The base of the pie is corn and we are going to use other ingredients like cheese and guava to make the recipe even more delicious,” he explains.

According to Melissa, the dessert is a mixture of pudding and cake.

“That’s why it has a more softening consistency, just so we can achieve this result,” he says.
