The advantage of this recipe – whatever version it is – is that it’s super quick to make and great for those days when you don’t have the time or patience to cook.

Content creator Fit says that cooked this way “is a delicious way to get kids to eat vegetables.” The author of the Mama Paleo blog does not use french fries and explains that the trick to not skipping them is to sauté the leek a little so that it is slightly al dente. The goal is to make it crunchy so that it has a similar texture to typical tuber sticks.

What you need

– 6 eggs
– 300 g leftover chicken fillet, previously fried or grilled, chopped
– 1 large onion, cut into not too thick half rings
– 1 small carrot, grated or very thin strips (optional)
– 1 clove minced garlic
– parsley to taste)
– chopped coriander (to taste)
– 50 grams of leek (thin slices)
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 teaspoon turmeric (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste)

Put the onion, garlic and parsley in a pan with oil and let them fry. When the onion is soft, add the chicken and leek. Get involved well. Finally, add beaten eggs with turmeric, salt and pepper. Stir until they reach the desired cooking point. Sprinkle with parsley and coriander and serve.
