Schweigersdorf.DJK-SV Wallnsdorf/Schweigersdorf presented new players before the top game against Forchheim/Sulzkirchen.
Wallnsdorf/Schweigersdorf is in a good position this season and wants to be at the forefront of the southern division. So far it has worked quite well. Coach Philipp Seitz and head of department Rainer Brückel have a well-staffed team at all levels.
Before the top game against Forchheim-Sulzkirchen, Brückel and Seitz presented the newcomers, who were real reinforcements. Daniel Simbeck and Tobias Götz moved to Wallnsdorf / Schweigerdorf from the youth team at TSV Berching. Goalkeeper Andreas Pickl played for FC Plankstetten for a few years, kept the goal for FC Sandersdorf last season and is currently number 1 in Wallnsdorf. Christoph Mödl comes from TSV Dietfurt.
Seitz is in his fifth year as coach in Wallnsdorf/Schweigerdorf. He was assisted by Matthias Lenz as an assistant coach. The leader of the game is Markus Grad. The new goalkeeping coach is Niklas Haas.
DJK/SV started the season well. In five games there are five wins. In the top game last Sunday against SG Forchheim-Sulzkirchen, however, there was a first defeat, and it was very unfortunate and bitter. The Seitz protégés were already leading 2-0 at half-time and looked certain winners. Unfortunately, things turned out differently and unfortunately lost 5: 2. “But this does not throw us away,” said Josef Stephan, the second president. The team overcame the defeat and are now looking forward to Sunday’s derby against FC Planksetten. This game starts at 4 pm.
