The Guanabara Water Conservation Network (REDAGUA) will hold its first environmental education workshop. The event, which takes place on July 11 and 12, aims to bring together the various environmental education and awareness activities that take place in the territory of Guanabara. Applications are accepted until May 31 and are open to anyone who is interested in presenting their developments in the region.
Projects must follow the following pre-established thematic areas: education and environmental awareness, citizen science, and scientific dissemination. The workshop will take place in person, in Niteroi, and the presentation may be oral or with a banner.
In addition to presentations of works, the event will also feature lectures, cultural interventions and a concert by the singer Lenina. Entry to the seminar will be free and open to the general public.
Registration for participation in the seminar and for the presentation of reports is necessary through the online form available at this link.
REDAGUA consists of the Coral Vivo, Guapiaçu, Meros do Brasil and Uçá projects sponsored by the Petrobras Social and Environmental Program. The seminar is also supported by the Municipality of Niteroi.
