  • Pasta:
    – 5 eggs
    – 140 g sugar
    – 120 ml of water
    – 8 ml vanilla essence
    – 140 g wheat flour
    – 10 g yeast
  • Filling:
    – 500 g dulce de leche
    – 200 g sour cream
  • Roof:
    – 150 g of powdered sugar

Dough preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, separate the yolks from the whites and start beating the whites on medium speed for 5 minutes or until the volume has doubled.
  2. Then add the yolks and beat for another 4 minutes at a slightly higher speed.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Then add sugar and mix on low speed.
  5. With the mixer running, add water and essence little by little.
  6. After this step, take another bowl and add half of the batter and gradually add the wheat flour.
  7. Finally, add the yeast and place the dough in an oiled mold (20 cm rim) at 180ºC for about 25 minutes or until golden on top and the edges come off the mold.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool, then fill.

Filling preparation:

  1. Mix dulce de leche with cream and bring to a low heat.
  2. Stir until it boils and the filling is creamy.
  3. Let it cool in the refrigerator with plastic wrap in contact with the filling.
  4. After cooling, use for filling the dough.

How to prepare the topping:

  1. Use a sieve and sprinkle the cake evenly with sugar.
